When
you give your iPhone to someone, there is a high probability of that person
exploring features of your phone, not because this person wants to intrude in
your personal life, but the phone itself is so fascinating to use that one
cannot resist. With this, they may venture into something utmost private or
confidential. To avoid this thing to happen, you may use the guided access on iPhone XR, XS or any other
model.
How to use guided access on iPhone: This involves two
steps, first is configuring the guided access and second is activating and
deactivating it.
Step 1: Under settings and
select General. Under general, select Accessibility. About at the bottom of the
list, you will see the options Guided access. In guided access, Tap to toggle
the guided access on. Under passcode, tap "Set Guided Access
passcode". You can also turn on the Face ID or Touch ID from the passcode
screen.
Step 2: How to use guided access on iPhone is relatively
simple. All you need to do is on models which do not have a home button, press
the lock button thrice. For devices with a home button, press the home button
thrice. Once you do that, it will launch the guided access, and you can now
lock the phone with minimal permission granted.
Now
that you have an idea of how to use this important feature, do not forget to
make full use of it. This is a benefit of using an Apple product. It comes with
a price tag, but it never shies away from giving you premium features.
