How to Use Guided Access on iPhone


When you give your iPhone to someone, there is a high probability of that person exploring features of your phone, not because this person wants to intrude in your personal life, but the phone itself is so fascinating to use that one cannot resist. With this, they may venture into something utmost private or confidential. To avoid this thing to happen, you may use the guided access on iPhone XR, XS or any other model.
How to use guided access on iPhone: This involves two steps, first is configuring the guided access and second is activating and deactivating it.
Step 1: Under settings and select General. Under general, select Accessibility. About at the bottom of the list, you will see the options Guided access. In guided access, Tap to toggle the guided access on. Under passcode, tap "Set Guided Access passcode". You can also turn on the Face ID or Touch ID from the passcode screen.
Step 2: How to use guided access on iPhone is relatively simple. All you need to do is on models which do not have a home button, press the lock button thrice. For devices with a home button, press the home button thrice. Once you do that, it will launch the guided access, and you can now lock the phone with minimal permission granted. 
Now that you have an idea of how to use this important feature, do not forget to make full use of it. This is a benefit of using an Apple product. It comes with a price tag, but it never shies away from giving you premium features.
