How to configure Email Account on Android

These Steps will help you on how to configure emails on Android. With the typical email service providers like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc., you do not need the server setting as the app will fetch the settings automatically. For email accounts, which are rare globally, like your company email account, you will, for sure, need the server settings. You can get the server settings from your email hosting service provider or the network administrator.
To configure an email account on an android phone, you need the following settings:
1)    Username (which is your email address)
2)    Password for your email address
3)    Incoming email server settings
4)    Outgoing email server settings.
5)    Port Numbers for Email server settings.
To set up an email account, you need to open the mail app and select the option to add an account.
Once you have all the email account settings, enter the settings in the required field, and that’s it. You are good to go. If you are looking for how to configure emails on Androids, then this will help you.
Once you have successfully configured the email account, send a test email to your own configured email address. This way, you can ensure that the Android is sending and receiving emails successfully.
In case the email is not sent successfully then you need to check the Outgoing Email Server Settings. Similarly, if the email is sent successfully, but you have not received, then the incoming email server settings are at fault. This way, you can check where the problem is.
