mail is the mac application which can be used to configure multiple email
accounts on a single application. Many of us use more than one email account
for work purpose or personal use and to make the email separated according to

add a new email address by two methods.
1. Using normal settings.
2. Using advanced settings.
Steps for normal setup
1. Open
the mail application in MAC.
2. Click
on “menu” and select “Add account”.
3. Select
the email service provider in the given list if not listed then click on
“Another mail account”.
4. A
prompt will be there with required fields name, email, and password.
5. Input
all the required information and click “Sign in”.
6. The
email setup is completed and if you have added more than two accounts then you
can choose a default account as well.
Setup using advanced settings:-
Before start setting up the
account in the advanced mode you will need to gather some information. You need
to acquire SMTP, POP3 or IMAP details and email password.
1. Open
the host control panel and navigate to the email account section.
2. Click
manage option next to the email you want to add in mail mac application.
3. A new prompt window will come up on the screen with all the required information.
Save those details or write it down.
4. Open
the mail application on MAC Mail App.
5. Go
to mail settings and choose “add account option”.
6. A prompt window will appear on screen with all the email providers name, so, you
need to click on another mail account.
7. Enter
the server settings and details.
8. Enter
the email address, username with password.
9. Then
enter the account type (IMAP).
10.
Then enter incoming mail server “mail.example.com”
and outgoing mail server “mail.example.com” from the information we have saved
earlier from the host control panel.
